The 2022 midterm elections are coming, and the fascist Good Ole Piranhas are swarming around in their cesspool of autocracy, their needle-toothed maws dripping with sewage that they intend to spew out over the land. What’s patently obvious and irksome to no end, pushing them into a frenzy, is that we’re still a democracy despite the efforts of that “f^%$ing moron,” so the fascists still have to win votes.
They’ll try to do it with their usual lies, conspiracy theories, and slander, all apparent in their political ads. The Dems have the advantage in 2022, though, and beyond, if they play their cards right.
First, Kim, Putin, and Xi as well as other lesser fascists like MBS, Modi, and their ilk, show the dangers of autocracy, and the idea that we can become one, with the Good Ole Piranhas leading the charge here in the US, sends frissons down the spines of all sane voters. The problem with all these evil leaders’ countries is that they have no democratic traditions. Russia has shown this in spades; the majority of Russians follow wherever the evil Pied Piper of Moscow leads them. And that little ex-KGB clerk, who burned files in East Berlin at the fall of the Soviet Union, has no special skills, like most autocrats, only the audacity that he thinks he can murder and maim at will. America has a democratic tradition. While US fascists have diluted them, especially the Good Ole Piranhas, and want to continue eroding them, the Dems have plenty of issues to stop them cold if the American public only uses logic and reason instead of raw redneck emotion (yes, most American fascists, like the Nazis, are white, racist, and bigotted).
Second, the Dems’ issues are popular ones if they use them as talking points in campaigns. That’s key: They have to be smart enough to use them. Take the attacks on the SCOTUS nominee launched by the Good Ole Piranhas–racist, bigoted, and fascist attacks from GOP senators designed to pander to and provide fodder for the “marching morons” who want to turn the USA into the FSA—the Fascist States of America. I don’t see how any Asian, black, brown, or any other minority American voter could ever vote for a Good Ole Piranha after seeing those attacks. But Dems have to use that evidence in their campaigns! And McConnell’s “soft on crime” spiel, used as a GOP excuse to vote against the nominee—the GOP identifies criminals with minorities, of course—is as absurd as some GOP claims that actions taken on January 6 were just “tourism,” never calling them criminal actions. (Trump should be impeached and also sent to jail for attempting that coup d’etat, because a firing squad is too good for that traitor!)
Third topic: Let’s consider Moscow Mitch’s plot to pack SCOTUS with fascist judges. (How appropriate that fascist nickname is now!) That plan goes all the way back to Clarence Thomas, the Uncle Tom of the fascist judges. His wife Ginni is the fascists’ cheerleader, urging Meadows to commit treason. At the very least, every Dem candidate should demand that Ginni should be arrested for aiding and abetting the crime of insurrection! And Judge Thomas should either resign, be impeached, or at least recuse himself from any case the fascist Good Ole Piranhas are pushing toward SCOTUS (that includes women’s rights and gun control).
There are many other issues the Dems can use. They have to fight fire with fire. The Good Ole Piranhas have already set fire to the Reichstag (January 6). These Nazis must not win in 2022, 2024, or any time in the future. Democracy must survive! Good must prevail over evil in the war of democracy vs. autocracy!
