At the time I’m writing this article, it’s still possible that Kyle Rittenhouse gets away with two murders and an attempted murder, even though there’s no question of his guilt.
Even as a seventeen-year-old minor, Rittenhouse would have been welcome in the Nazi youth corps. He’s the lad who lived outside Wisconsin and decided to go to Kenosha to kill some evil liberals under the pretext of protecting property (washing off graffiti? c’mon!) and giving medical aid to those in need (to the ones he’d shoot?), requiring an AR-15 long gun for the first and having zero experience or qualifications for the second. He murdered two people with that AR-15, and he wounded a third, an attempted murder, all to “defend himself”?
Unfortunately, both prosecution and defense teams seem to be examples of Peter’s Principle, and the judge is also an incompetent, crazy man. That judge should never have been appointed to the bench (thirty-six pages of jury instruction and allowing Rittenhouse choosing his own jury? c’mon!), and there should have been a mistrial just on the basis of all the incompetence, including the compression of that video.
Couldn’t the little Nazi have defended himself better by staying home? He became a criminal the moment he illegally got a gun and carried it across state lines! (Which the Nazi judge readily excused!) It went downhill from there for this hunter of those evil liberals who were protesting in Kenosha. (The defense made the latter out to be the guilty ones!) No one killed anyone that night but that little Nazi. and I would give him the death penalty. Period.
I don’t buy his false tears and sobs on that witness stand either. That was just a defense tactic to generate sympathy for someone who deserves our spite, not sympathy. The kid was already a scurrilous dog, thanks to his Nazi mother’s twisting his life around, or he wouldn’t have done what he did. How can anyone but the most ardent Nazi, like that blogger who took the stand, sympathize with that. Yeah, they had a video of one of the guys he killed confronting other fascists. I’d be upset too if a bunch of fascists surrounded and threatened me!
This Nazi brat drank the fascist Kool-Aid and was out to commit murder with his “cool gun”! I hope the SOB receives just what his two victims got: A death sentence! I see no chance that he will ever be reformed, and he should pay an equal price for his crimes. But Lady Justice is indeed blind in twenty-first century America.
