We all know that the “f&^%ing moron” has been a liar all his life and has sired the real lying sons Don Jr. and Eric. (Again, I’ll remind my readers that the quote is a real one too, quite appropriate, and uttered by ex-SecState Tillerson, who the @realDonaldTrump basically fired, among other MAGA minions in DJT’s administration who couldn’t stand the psychotic sociopath.) Apparently Il Duce has many more imitators now besides his two real sons, basically all those MAGA maniacs he supported in the 2022 midterms, lying fanatics from Lake in Arizona to Walker in Georgia, liars who failed to convince voters that they were fit for office and thus lost. Yes, DJT, the godfather of the Trump mafia, has a long history of lying…and of being a big loser himself!
There’s one Trump wannabe who didn’t lose in 2022, though, NY state’s recently elected House rep George Santos. While Santos didn’t want that “f&^%ing moron” to campaign for him—after all, NY state’s Good Ole Piranhas tout their own brand of fascism, not Trump’s—Georgie Porgie is that old master liar’s spiritual son.
Let me try to list all his big lies (the ones to date). Although they can’t compare with the master’s “big lie” about the 2020 presidential election, they all show he’s channeling Il Duce. First, he said he graduated from Baruch College and NYU. Not so, because they never heard of him! Second, he said he was a financial whiz-kid who’d worked for CitiBank and Goldman Sachs. Again, another lie! Third, he said he owned property and was a NYC landlord. Not true! And fourth, he said that he’s Jewish and his Jewish grandparents escaped the Nazi holocaust and settled in Brazil. They definitely settled in Brazil—they were born there!—but there’s no record of a holocaust in Brazil nor of their escaping it. (Although that Brazilian ex-president, not to be outdone, murdered his people with Covid-19 and created his own big lie about the Brazilian election.) Georgie’s Catholic, by the way, but he tried to weasel out of this one by claiming that he’d only said he was Jew-ISH. Does this mean that he’s schizoid? And there might be more lies.
For example, is he really gay? He claims he is, but he divorced a woman two weeks before the election. (To be fair, I only read this once, so I can’t confirm it.) That could be taken either way: Maybe she divorced him when she found out he’s gay, or she was simply tired of all his lies!
Of course, you have to wonder why the Dems in their opposition studies didn’t discover all these lies and use that discovery against Georgie the candidate. An editorial in the 12/26 NY Times analyzes this failure (and tries to excuse it!), but I’m not convinced. In the same vein, shouldn’t the Good Ole Piranhas have checked their candidates qualities? I guess they don’t care who they put up (just consider Walker), as long as they win. Both sides showed their incompetence. Although they probably won’t do it, I think the NY Piranhas in his district he’s supposed to represent in Congress should force him to resign. That’s the very least they can do from an ethical and moral point of view, but who said the Piranhas anywhere are ethical and moral? Besides, McCarthy wants Piranhas there, any old Piranha, to bolster up his slim majority, and, as a newbie, Georgie will probably help McCarthy become King Piranha in the House.
The correct action, of course, would be to send the SOB to jail. If we’d done that with the biggest liar in America’s business world of all time (guess who?), we wouldn’t have suffered through the four years of his presidential term from 2016 to 2020 that nearly ended the US as we know it in a bloody coup. We can’t let either his real or spiritual sons get a foothold in American politics. That biggest liar has been declared unfit for office by the January 6th committee. His sons, real or spiritual, aren’t fit for office either!
