The “fucking moron” Trump recently stated that he wasn’t in the Epstein files to a group of reporters. But AG Bondi and her Ass AG told Trump the Chump in May he was mentioned multiple times. Now, being mentioned in those files (whatever form they’re in!) doesn’t necessarily imply guilt, just an association with sex traffickers of underage girls who are blameless in all this, but what did Narcissus le Grand lie about it? We already know he’s a philanderer for Melania from the Stormy Daniels case (where he was convicted, I’ll revind everyone).
The problem here is that few people remain who are willing to check POTUS’s lies or anyone else’s. The Washington Post used to keep a running score of Il Dulce’s lies with a good accounting of why they were lies; but with Jeff Bezos, the Post’s new owner and oligarch who just spent millions on a wedding in Venice, kissing Trump’s fat butt, the Post has become far too friendly with the president’s fascist administration.
Media members fail to pick up the slack now, knowing that participating in this “doublespeak” circus of “alternate facts” (remember 1984?) puts their careers in peril: Jim A., Terry M., George S., and even Rupert M. and his WSJ have either been sued or have endangered or ruined their careers because of the fascist attacks on the media. It’s so common now that there are few left to count the many lies.
This is fascist standard operating procedure, raw authoritarian bullshit. Lying about what they’re doing is standard practice for any despot. Going after the fact checkers in the media or otherwise is the fascist norm. Welcome to the Fascist States of America where the Nazi Goebbels’s tactics are commonplace. Our only solution for now? Trust no one! Lying politicians go after other lying politicians. Let them ruin each other’s careers. That can only make the US a better place…if it survives all this!
