The US president doesn’t know if he should uphold the US Constitution? C’mon! That “fucking moron” took an oath on January 20 to do just that!
While SCOTUS’s fascist judges give that wannabe autocrat for all kinds of presidential atrocities, all federal officials swear to uphold the Constitution. Unfortunately they do have the last word and often let Donald Jackass Trump get away with treason, especially Alito and Thomas, They twist the meaning of the Constitution around to suit their needs and follow no ethics rules themselves. Their ruling that Trump is like a king who can never be charged for a crime while he is in office gives the president carte blanche, so he does what he pleases. The Founding Fathers be damned!
Even local government officials make an oath to uphold the US Constitution. Apparently, Narcissus le Grand is so stupid that he’s unable to understand what that means. He’s admitted that he needs lawyers to explain things to him (even though his oath of office says it all!), but they’re all influenced by those fascist lawyers and extreme right-wing conservatives who wrote “Project 2025,” or have otherwise been constantly looking for ways around the Constitution—using that old law used to create the concentration camps for Japanese-Americans during World War Two to deport illegal immigrants without due process is but one recent example even the fascist SCOTUS judges didn’t like (except those Nazi judges Alito and Thomas, of course).
There’s no respect for the US Constitution in the Trump administration or among his faithful sycophants. Why should there be? They’re all fascists; and they’re out to destroy American democracy, no doubt about it! Its language is more than two centuries old, so these fascist SOBs believe they can reinterpret everything to further their evil agendas. This is treason, plain and simple; but no one dares call it that for fear that they’ll be attacked by the fascists who are now think they’re in control of our government.
Perhaps Trump’s excuse is that his main interest in making money, and just maybe that will slow him down; but accepting a $400-million-dollar Qatari plane as a gift and pretend he’s royalty while visiting three Arab countries to further the family’s business interests could piss off even some so-called Republicans? Fascists are always motivated by greed, not just unlimited autocratic power. The Fascist Party of America (once known as the GOP) is full of ambitious autocrats who might eventually see Trump Incorporated as too much competition, but you can bet they’ll not be moved by obvious violations of the US Constitution. Morality isn’t a ubiquitous trait among most politicians, but the FPA’s fascists are extreme examples that remind any sane person of those famous fascists of history.
But aren’t we just as guilty in letting these SOBs get away with what we’re doing? Democracy’s weakness is that a democratic nation’s citizens’ only recourse is at the ballot box if it wants to remain a democracy. The fascists know that, and they take advantage of it. It all starts by making a mockery of the US Constitution, spitting on it and trampling it into the ground. Exactly what’s occurring now!
And I fear the ballot box solution will come too late. Will only fascists be able to vote in the 2026 midterms using some weird fascist twist of legal logic? That’s nearly true already in many red states! Maybe we sane Americans should immigrate to Canada and help that country’s citizens spit in Trump and all the other fascists’ faces?
