…and, in fact, I’d tell any moron who isn’t, exactly the same thing, including Donald Jackass Trump, a true American traitor who wants a pardon for himself, even though his crimes are much worse, and threatens to pardon those already tried and convicted for the treasonous attempted coup he engineered on January 6, 2021. But I’ll never associate with such foul-smelling pond scum who are dedicated to destroying American democracy!
FYI to the howler monkeys: The jackass has never been sentenced…that’s an American tragedy, but what’s to pardon! His thirty-two counts from that NYC trial weren’t for his perverted and/or immoral behavior (which happens to be a bipartisan occurrence, as ex-Senator Menendez has shown); instead, they were for this supposedly astute businessman’s unethical business practices he used to cover up that perverted behavior! Any other American whose last name isn’t Biden, even Trump, would have only gotten a slap on the hand for that gun charge (a gun never used because it was tossed in a trash bin, mind you) and tax evasion (money Hunter has already paid back to the IRS).
Meanwhile, Narcissus le Grand committed treason in multiple ways: by staging a coup on January 6, 2021; by stealing America’s secrets; and by making efforts in numerous states on numerous occasions to invalidate the 2020 election, including threatening the Georgia SecState.
The Dems aren’t much better, of course. It’s bad enough that they’re stupidly saying that the assassination of that United Healthcare CEO was justified, even celebrating it (no wonder the far-left is driving people to the right , which cost the Dems the 2024 election), and too many of them, just like the members of the FPA (“Fascist Party of America,” what the Republican Party has become) put politics above any sense of morality. President Biden is justified in giving them all the finger to protect his son. I just wish old Joe would also pardon some others because it’s a sure thing that the “f&^%ing moron” is going to go after his perceived political enemies come January 20, 2025. (His hit list likely contains the entire January 6 House committee, including Cheney and Kinzinger, and at least Nancy Pelosi and the Dem leaders of the two impeachment trials.)
There’s a myopic false equivalence between Hunter Biden’s pardon and Donald Jackass Trump’s desire to pardon the January 6 rioters. Many MAGA maniacs in the FPA, including their wannabe dictator, either deserved and still deserve prison or the firing squad. It’s a matter of degree: Hunter harmed no one except maybe himself and his family’s name. The jackass and his followers are out to destroy democracy in America. There’s zero moral equivalence, and the FPA’s success there will affect everyone negatively, even the MAGA hordes, who all too often seem to be extreme masochists besides being extreme fascists.
But here’s the bottom line: If you’re a father and you don’t help your offspring when you can, assuming that offspring deserves your help because charges against him are unjustified, you’d be a damn sorry excuse of a father. Even the psychotic sociopath Donald Jackass Trump helps his kids! (God knows why. His kids don’t deserve his help because they might even be worse than their father!)
No, old Joe did exactly what I expected, and I heartily approve of his decision. At the time he said he wouldn’t pardon Hunter, he was still running for re-election and probably thought he’d win. He didn’t run; but if Kamala had won, she could have pardoned Hunter. She didn’t win, so Hunter was left at the mercy of the MAGA hordes. Circumstances change decisions in politics, just like they do in ordinary lives. Only about fifty percent of American voters believed Donald Jackass Trump’s lies, but their geographical disposition was enough to win in the antiquated Electoral College. He believes he has absolute power now, thanks to the fascist SCOTUS majority who gave him that power, so no sane person could ever believe the jackass would let Hunter off lightly. He’d have made sure that Hunter would spend the rest of his life in jail just to get even with old Joe for turning Trump the Chump into that huge loser of 2020.
The big picture here is a sad but terrible one: The US doesn’t have a justice system; instead, it has a legal system that can be manipulated. And right now the FPA’s fascists are doing ninety-nine percent of the manipulation. Old Joe had no choice. Critics of his pardon can take their criticisms and stuff them where the sun don’t shine! I have zero use for any of them, be they Dem or FPA members or snarky media assholes!
