At best the presidential election is now a toss-up; at worst, Kamala’s poll numbers are worse than old Joe’s in 2019. In any case, it looks bad for her. My expectations for Harris were low: VPs traditionally don’t do well, and she has had very little time to make her case to the American public because of Biden’s dalliance and stubbornness. LBJ was the last Dem VP who did well domestically (but screwed up internationally), but his circumstances were different. Even in domestic policy, one could say that he gave the South, traditionally Democratic, to the Good Ole Piranhas who have now become the FPA (“Fascist Party of America” with Donald Jackass Trump its wannabe fuehrer). In fact, Kamala’s legacy has haunted her” She wasn’t a good candidate in 2019, and she’s flip-flopped on some key issues, a sign of maturity in my view but not necessarily for other voters especially when the fascist opposition makes such a big deal of it! At least, compared to that “f&^%ing moron,” she auto-corrects. (He’ll never admit his mistake about the “Central Park Five,” something that every black voter must consider. They’re now suing him! And he’ll never admit that on January 6, 2021, he attempted a coup! He’ll go to jail for that but only if he loses. Otherwise, he’ll pardon himself!)
So, it’s very likely, as Barack Obama (another black man Trump slandered) stated, that the sequel will be worse, i.e., Narcissus le Grand’s second term will be his “retribution term.” He’ll turn the US into an autocracy like China, Russia, Iran, and Korea as he imprisons or murders his opponents—really anyone who doesn’t kiss his big ass—as he emulates those dictators whom he admires so much. Or maybe he’ll just let fascist Evangelicals and rabid far-right Catholics turn the US into an evil theocracy like Iran with the fascist SCOTUS judges as its evil junta and Franklin Graham as its ayatollah. Who knows? That fascist jackass might do anything because he’s a psychotic sociopath.
There’s a big “but,” though (not the “big butt”—that’s Trump’s that he likes kissed): There are many other US fascists hanging around ready to inherit the fuehrer’s mantle. They might apply the 25th amendment and declare him to be too mentally ill to be commander-in-chief (that’s certainly true…because he’s already obviously demented, old, and senile!), or he’ll just die while ranting one of his paranoid rants against all those perceived foes, imagined or otherwise, even ones in the FPA…or making lewd comments about Arnold Palmer as if he were the golfer’s best friend! (As if Trump could actually play golf without cheating!)
Let’s face it: Too many US voters will certainly show the world how stupid they are if they elect him for a second term! (He and the FPA will try to help that along with their usual attempts to cheat, of course.) But sometimes even stupid people can come to their senses. And it might be somewhat comforting to see an assassin who could shoot finally plan a successful assassination or an angry mob tear him from limb to limb like Gaddafi. After all, that’s what often occurs in dictatorships, and the jackass wants to turn the US into one.
Of course, that would set a bad precedent. America could no longer claim to be a representative democracy if that occurred. Hmm, it’s not really one now, is it. Even if Trump loses, he and his fascist followers will still plague American politics. So maybe another and better planned impeachment is what we’ll need, especially if it takes down all his fascist collaborators with him. American democracy needs a house-cleaning, so maybe a second term for the jackass could be just what America needs to motivate that! That shining beacon of hope and freedom might rise again out of the fascist cesspool as Americans realize what they’ve lost and what Donald Jackass Trump, J. Done-Nothing Vance, and all the other US fascists have stolen.
Or will the world sink into a new Middle Ages to match the darkness of the jackass’s rhetoric? It might take some time, even if voters come to their senses! Kamala can only do so much with the time she was given. American voters must do the rest. Are they up to the challenge? We’ll know in less than two weeks!
