I’m not a fan of anyone being careless with national secrets, and I’m even less tolerant of people who steal them! Worker bees in US agencies and with sensitive positions in US corporations do far better at guarding them than politicians, though. And yet VIP politicians are rarely fined or punished for their transgressions!
But the hypocrisy of the US House’s Good Ole Piranhas, led now by Mad Dog McCarthy, is over the top! The “f^%$ing moron” had 300+ sensitive documents at Mar a Largo after his presidency; Biden had 20+ after his vice-presidency, and the puking Piranhas go after Biden and not Trump? Gimme a break!
First, Biden’s small number and his administration’s immediate action show that the claim of “inadvertent error” is entirely plausible and probably due to errors made by packers and movers. (Neither VIP politician labored at moving their stuff, I assure you!) Il Duce can make no such claim. Instead, Trump the Chump utters inane excuses like “they’re my mementos” or “I can declassify them by just thinking it.” Huh? There’s absolutely no reason why any ex-government official returning to private life should have any classified documents. Period!
Second, the numbers and actions of the individuals involved show that comparing the cases is like comparing “apples to elephants” as one pundit said. (Freudian slip there? The elephant is the mascot for the GOP, although the piranha is a much better choice.) The Piranhas have never gone after Trump, whereas they immediately pounced on Biden and started tearing the flesh from his bones (metaphoric piranhas, but piranhas still the same).
Mad Dog McCarthy and the MAGA maniacs want parity and equality? Sure! Why not? That works both ways. Let them treat that “f^%$ing moron” whose ass they’re always kissing just like they treat President Biden. (Warning to the Piranhas: Biden hates ass-kissers!) I dare them to support true parity and equality.
Better yet, they should try to be rational (the Piranhas don’t know the meaning of the word, of course) and consider this: Both cases have special prosecutors (Il Duce’s nominees, I might add), so they could save a lot of time by just letting them do their job. But the Piranhas want to go after the DoJ as well. Trump turned the department into his personal staff of lawyers, and the Piranhas want that back!
If Mad Dog McCarthy and his cannibalistic cohorts can’t do any of these things (more likely, don’t want to do so), then their special committee designed to attack Biden can go after Trump as well. That’s parity and equality too! Better still, if they’re so worried about a balanced budge, they can combine the House efforts into one solo committee that will study why VIP politicians, Dems and Piranhas alike, seem so blasé about handling classified documents. Of course, the new autocratic rulers of the US House are only driven by political revenge, not real legal issues nor concern for US citizens. They’re fascists and Putin lovers, so legal issues don’t matter to them!
