This crazy man—racist, bigot, anti-vaxer, rabid conspiracy theorist, etc.—might be the reason Narcissus le Grand (aka Donald J. Trump) will become president again in 2024: Some Dems are stupid enough to vote for a famous name from the past rather than the fellow who saved this country in 2020, Joe Biden.
Robert Kennedy’s unhinged son is more like a Trump than a Kennedy. As an anti-vaxer, he should remind people of Il Dulce (also aka Donald J. Trump) who recommended injecting bleach to combat Covid, but RFK Jr’s entire political platform is anti-Biden. In fact, the only thing he has going for him is his surname; he doesn’t even have a Boston accent, though, and many in his famous family have basically disowned him and rejected his crazy ideas.
So now the Dems have a racist, bigot, anti-vaxer, and conspiracy theorist and a crazy female writer running against old Joe in the primaries. The irony is that they’re both more Libertarians, crazy Rand Paul types wrapped in liberal toilet paper. Declared Libertarians hardly exist anymore, thanks to Rand Paul’s excesses, who’s more aligned with the MAGA maniacs who faithfully follow their fuehrer. Never fear, though; Rand Paul is only faithful to Rand Paul, another narcissist like RFK Jr. who thinks he’s got answers for everything.
Like it or not, the US has a two-party system, and any crazy and unelectable candidate in one party can steal enough votes in a general election so the other party’s candidate wins (Nader did it to Gore, for example). RFK Jr. is running as a Dem, but will he run as an independent if he doesn’t beat Biden in the primaries? Manchin and Hunt are already planning a third-party run as well. Will RFK Jr. make it a fourth party? There’s no problem with that per se—several European countries do it, and then form coalitions after the election—but when there’s only one qualified candidate (I’m even reluctantly including Narcissus le Grand, a “f&^%ing moron” who isn’t even qualified to clean toilets), putting some other joker in the mix is supremely dangerous (that’s what we saw with Il Duce who took advantage of a situation in 2016 where the GOP had a plethora of candidates).
RFJ Jr. recently appeared before Jim Jordan’s House Committee (Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum on national TV made the US yet again the laughing stock of the world) and denied he was a racist, bigot, anti-vaxer, and rabid conspiracy theorist before the racists, bigots, anti-vaxers, and rabid consipiracy theorists on Jordan’s committee. Serious media persons debunked all RFK Jr’s claims almost in real time with clips showing that’s exactly what he is, not the least of which were his own family members calling him a fraud. No surprise: Jordan and his fascist pals on that committee were loving it! His appearance proved that the Dems have an insane person comparable to Marjorie Taylor Greene! (Is RFK Jr. also a QAnon fan?)
Strange things have occurred in 21st century presidential elections, from hanging chads with SCOTUS declaring Bush the winner (going against the US Constitution, of course) to a defeated candidate Trump attempting a coup after other illegal maneuvers failed. (A trial is coming to the latter soon enough. Lock’im up!) We might see a lot more. We’re only in the third decade, after all. Will these crazy occurrences associated with psychotic sociopaths and extreme narcissists destroy American democracy? Time will tell, and RFK Jr. might be the one to help do it! Heaven help the United States of America! Those candidates certainly won’t. They don’t care about anyone except themselves!
