DJT (aka Narcissus le Grand aka Il Duce) thought he had a tremendous talking point for the 2024 presidential election. That “f%$#ing moron” assumes a lot of things and lies about many others. (Note that I quote only the pros here: This quote was a judgement made by his ex-Sec State Tillerson, whom Trump the Chump fired, though the more precise medical diagnosis from a slew of mental health pros was even stronger: He’s a psychotic sociopath.) In any case, Mr. Moron assumed the border problems would rile up voters much more than women’s reproductive rights—SCOTUS’s killing fifty years of judicial precedent with their the roll-back of the Roe vs. Wade decision, so much so that he bragged about nominating the three extreme fascist judges who biased SCOTUS and led the charge against that landmark decision. He underestimates the power of women. Most misogynist fascists do.
Women have moved far beyond being the politically powerless and docile breeders and obedient slaves of men, and smart men welcome that (forget about counting most MAGA maniacs in that group, though, including their moronic fuehrer). It’s more than just a lot of fellows saying (and many women now agreeing) that the world would be far better off if women were more in control. It’s more than everyone realizing that partners (of any sexual orientation) have more economic opportunities than a single person when trying to get ahead in life’s rat race. It’s the correct recognition that holding anyone back and denying them opportunity slows humanity’s progress as a whole. Democracy works when everyone has equal opportunity—that should be the true meaning of “all people are created equal.”
“Wait!” you say. “Isn’t that quote supposed to be ‘all men are created equal’?” Only in those misogynist colonial times when the Founding Fathers wrote the Declaration and Constitution, a period of US history when women didn’t count—men basically owned them and demanded their absolute obedience, they could be married off at ten, and women’s rights were considered an oxymoron.
Even that moronic Il Duce now running for president again (the last time he was routed) realized he’d gone too far. He’d killed the most comprehensive immigration bill in years when he thought Congress might vote for it, thinking this issue would be his big ticket back into the White House. His reasoning wasn’t bad for being a fascist moron: “Can’t give old Joe a win on immigration! That’s my issue! He blew it.” (Never mind that his handling of that issue during his presidential term was a complete disaster. Even some fascist MAGA maniacs hesitated about separating children from parents! And that infamous wall that he was supposed to make Mexico build was never built!) So the arse-kissing Speaker of the House, the dishonorable Mr. Mike Johnson, obeyed Il Duce’s command. (That mad mongrel recently trotted off to Mar a Lago to continue his obedience lessons, following in the footsteps of the previous speaker. Trump gave him a pat on the head for that amicus brief that swore there was election fraud in 2020 and then the two planned to buoy up election integrity, a problem simply solved if both those fascists resigned!)
And then Arizona passed a total abortion ban! “Oops!” Narcissus le Grand said. “They went too far!” (A public statement—he likes the taste of his own foot, corns and all.) He’s no longer so enthusiastic about the pro-life movement (another very compact oxymoron because most of those pro-life fanatics are willing to kill a mother, throw doctors in jail if they don’t let her die, eliminate all contraception, etc., etc.). When asked if he’d sign a countrywide abortion ban, he said, “No,” but he’s okay if the states do his dirty work for him and those fascist SCOTUS judges.
So, let’s see how it stands now with the FPA (“Fascist Party of America,” also known as the “Good Ole Piranhas”) in the FSA (you can work out that acronym’s meaning now) led by their wannabe fuehrer, Donald J. Chump. The Dems can use the immigration issue because they can rightly claim that meaningful immigration legislation was going to be passed, but the MAGA maniacs in Congress obeyed Il Duce and nixed it. The Dems have it even better with women’s reproductive rights. Kansas led the way, and women everywhere will add a guarantee of abortion rights to their state constitutions. Red or blue state, both issues will eventually have to lead to bipartisan solutions to avoid women’s wrath. Women will speak powerfully across the land, many of their men will recognize the justice of their causes, and the FPA will drown in the fouled and murky waters of the America’s fascist cesspool.
Arizona’s recycling an outdated 1864 absolute abortion ban was a dumb maneuver. Period. Not only is the Arizona Supreme Court male-dominated (most are…and therefore biased!), that law was promulgated before Arizona was even a state and before women had the right to vote. In other words, it has the same standing as that old law that prohibited hunting rabbits on LA’s Wilshire Boulevard! Moreover, the Arizona AG stated last year that she would never prosecute anyone for violating it. So, why bother? Because fascist men live in the past, in this case, 1864. (That’s a characteristic of many MAGA maniacs. They believe white men should be in charge much as they were in the 1800s. Sorry, MAGA misogynists! You’re not smart enough to invent a time machine. Whether Dem, extreme conservative, or rabid fascist, that’s just not possible!)
Narcissus le Grand will have to scramble now to find some issue(s) that he can lie about and will carry him into the White House. While the Arizona decision tries to take the country back to 1864, his only real path ahead now is to try to take the vote away from women, blacks, gays, and other major sectors of the body politic who hate his guts. Trump and his fellow fascists might get thirty percent of the vote if they’re lucky, but that doesn’t win elections. (And 2018, 2020, and 2022 show that it’s very unlikely.) All the rest will vote for Dem candidates and against the FPA’s. Right now, I’m predicting a landslide in favor of Biden and the Dems. (Otherwise there’ll be a civil war, with many ladies fighting on the front lines against the fascists!) Besides, how can Il Duce even campaign for president—his first criminal trial is about to occur (jury selection has begun). He will need to continue to use his campaign funds to pay his legal bills!
But we must be vigilant. Wannabe dictator Trump and his fascist followers will do anything to win as 2020 and January 6, 2021 showed!
