While there’s some sadness or angst felt worldwide, the rest of the world is laughing at the US. It’s easy to understand why: What other civilized country could possibly nominate a twice-impeached ex-president who staged a coup and currently has four current indictments in as many courts, federal and state on his slate? Moreover, this wannabe-autocrat is now trying to engineer an impeachment against the current president who beat the socks off the jerk, turning him into a huge loser in the 2020 election and engineering a thrashing of his preferred candidates in the 2022 elections. Instead of being a has-been and convicted traitor rotting in a jail cell or waiting to appear in front of a firing squad for treason, the US will possibly make him president again in 2024? That doesn’t make most logical and reasonable Americans laugh, but it makes the US look like a Third World, chaotic country with few solid democratic institutions remaining.
Maybe half the voting public support this “f&^%ing moron” (the quote is from his first SecState Tillerson, who the moron fired, and is an apt description if only for the fact that he’s a complete loser with zero administrative, business, and political skills). These idiots (who unfortunately can vote) have created a cult of personality that any autocrat would love to have, putting their candidate into the same cesspool as Jung Un, Putin, or Xi. These MAGA maniacs will follow their pied piper right over the cliff and be smiling all the way down as they head for the polluted waters and rocks!
How can half the voters in the US be so damn stupid? Even if they only amount to twenty or thirty percent of the electorate, with the rest of that fifty percent gritting their teeth, swallowing their bile, and voting for Narcissus le Grand Chump Trump, there’s evidence for mass histeria, collective stupidity, and acute mental illness among his many followers. They, like their loser-leader, are mindless zombies without any qualities that deserve to be called human. They will end our brief two-hundred plus years of democratic history, once the envy of the free world, and turn the US into a fascist state as bad as Putin’s Russia or Xi’s China, or worse in the backward red states, like Jung Un’s North Korea. America’s Il Duce loves these dictators and abhors European democracies and those elsewhere. Once the US becomes fascist, it will be up to the latter to save the free world, but the chances aren’t good for that to occur with the US lost to the dark side.
And the MAGA maniacs are too stupid to realize that the Donald will be their worst nightmare. He doesn’t really give a rat’s ass about anyone but himself. The rest of the free world will be laughing at the US, if not crying about our fate. I’m just sad that all the sane Americans, myself included, will have to prepare for the wake and funeral of the United States of America!
